Ενώ το καλοκαίρι τελειώνει και ο μακρύς χειμώνας βρίσκεται προ των πυλών, ο Ένταρντ Σταρκ ή αλλιώς «Νεντ» (Sean Bean), Aρχοντας του Γουίντερφελ, εγκαταλείπει την αρχαία έδρα του οίκου του έπειτα από επίσκεψη του βασιλιά Ρόμπερτ Μπαράθηον (Mark Addy) και ταξιδεύει στο νότο για να αναλάβει το αξίωμα που θα τον αναδείξει στον δεύτερο ισχυρότερο άνθρωπο του βασιλείου. Σκοπός του είναι να εξιχνιάσει το μυστηριώδη θάνατο του φίλου και προκατόχου του και να αποκαλύψει τη συνωμοσία εναντίον του θρόνου.

Ανάλυση Επεισοδείου 4.06
Two men are in the refrigerated Pollos Hermanos truck this time. The truck is stopped and the driver is killed. The two men inside the truck are armed with heavy weapons and are ready to fire back. This time, the cartel men are smart and use the exhaust fumes to choke the two men inside. They lock the door from the outside to keep the men in. They eventually try to shoot their way out, but it's no use. Three cartel men casually eat the driver's lunch and watch as the men die. They then storm the truck and look for the correct pail, the one that contains the meth. They then head to their car and leave.
Skyler is looking up the press releases on the death of Gale and listening to Walt's message over again on the answering machine. She wakes Walt and gives him some coffee the night after his outburst to Hank. Skyler wonders why Walt would ever say those things that he mentioned last night. Skyler starts to put two and two together: the phone call and Walt telling Hank that this Heisenberg was still out there. Skyler thinks Walt is in big trouble. Skyler thinks that some part of Walt wants Hank to catch him – for all of this to be over and done with. Walt retorts that he is not in danger, he is the danger and he is the one that knocks. He then goes to take a shower. When he finishes, Skyler is gone.
Walt meets with Bogdan at the car wash and he hands over the paperwork. Bogdan warns that being the boss is tough and it takes hard work. The boss has to be tough, Bogdan continues, you have to know how to say no to people. They head downstairs and Bogdan hands over the keys. When Bogdan leaves, Walt takes the first dollar earned from the car wash (framed) and cracks the glass. Walt then heads over to a coke machine and spends it.
Meanwhile, that same night, Jesse and Mike head over to a diner. Mike orders while Jesse settles on coffee, clearly dealing with the effects of withdrawal. Mike says to eat something and offers the food from his plate. Jesse does eat. Mike gets a call on his cell phone and he gets up to leave. Jesse asks if Mike needs help, but Mike says he does not.
Back at the White household the next morning, Walt Jr. is wondering if he should call Skyler as she has not reappeared yet. Walt Jr. wonders why Skyler is still mad, saying it can't be about gambling or the cancer. Walt says that it has nothing to do with that, it's about choices he has made. They start the drive into school, but take a detour, to a car dealership. Walt says it's time for the car and the result is a Dodge Charger. Walt heads into work and finds Jesse there. They talk about what Jesse has been doing. Jesse says that he is a second set of eyes for Mike during the pickups. Walt actually wonders if it's a setup, when Jesse saved Mike. Jesse can't even believe what Walt is saying. Walt now thinks all of this is about him – everything Gus is doing is to make Walt ponder his actions, grow paranoid, and feel helpless. This theory is proven again because when they go into the lab, Jesse is called from the phone and asked to help elsewhere, leaving Walt alone again. Walt, angry that he has to clean the entire lab himself, goes upstairs and tries to get some of the Hispanic laundry women to help him. However, the ladies stop short of entering the lab area, that is, until Walt offers to pay them money. The three ladies eventually agree and Walt leaves them to clean right in front of the camera while he enjoys some coffee.
Skyler is driving in the desert with the baby. She turns onto a road leading to the four corners monument, the one where four U.S. state borders meet. She flips a coin as if deciding which state to cross over to. She drops the coin over the state line, but slides the coin back to New Mexico instead.
Mike tells Jesse that they need to watch a house. A couple of people in there are supposed to be sellers but they have been using the product instead. Mike also says they are armed and using, a potentially dangerous combination. Mike decides to wait it out, until the house people make a move first. Jesse decides that he's a "buyer" and goes to the front door. This doesn't work so great, so next he pops the trunk and gets a shovel. Jesse heads over the yard and digs. One of the guys (Tucker) notices and comes out of the house and Jesse tricks him into continuing the dig while Jesse slips inside. Jesse finds the man inside, a really heavy user of the blue meth armed with a shotgun. Jesse finds himself held at gunpoint, but the meth user hears something and turns, giving Jesse the opportunity to knock him out. Mike steps out from the far side of the room, happy with the progress and looking around the room.
Walt continues his cleaning situation the next day but Tyrus later takes the three women and informs Walt that they will be going back to Honduras. Walt is crestfallen. Mike and Jesse head to a diner again when Gus shows up to talk to Mike. Mike informs Gus that the men who stormed the truck gave the product to those housemates. The message on the package lid said, "ready to talk?" Mike offers to hire 10-15 people and take out the cartel but Gus refuses, saying to set up a meeting instead and see what they have to say. Outside, Gus sees Jesse and compliments him on the work he is doing with Mike.
Skyler finally comes home to Walt and Walt Jr. Walt Jr. tells her about the car and then goes for a quick drive. Walt tells Skyler that they are all safe. But Skyler soon berates the car that Walt bought, saying that it does not fit with their story at all. Skyler wants it to go back tomorrow. Walt does not agree and says that she'll get blamed for it. Skyler knows she'll get blamed for it, but she believes that she needs to protect this family from Walt's choices.

Σύμφωνα με την πρώτη ενημέρωση το MEGA θα προβάλει καθημερινά επεισόδια από τις 5 Σεπτεμβρίου στις 00.30.
Η σειρά έχει κεντρικό ήρωα τον Γουόλτερ. Έναν καθηγητή χημείας, με πολλά οικογενειακά προβλήματα, του οποίου αλλάζει η ζωή όταν μαθαίνει ότι πάσχει από καρκίνο.

Cranston: [Showrunner] Vince Gilligan and I have talked about this, when I first signed on, and we both are in agreement that it should be only as long as it needs to be to tell that story and the journey, but that’s a subjective comment. So how long’s long enough, how long is too long? You know what I mean. Not really knowing where Vince sits—it depends on when you ask him too, because when he’s up to his eyeballs in work and editing and he hasn’t had a break in a year and a half is a different story then if he just got back from a holiday and he goes, “Hey let’s go for three more years!” But like a proud athlete, I would rather quit a year early than a year too late. I don’t wanna have an asterisk next to this, you know “Breaking Bad: Five good years and one mediocre one.” I don’t wanna have people go, “You know that last one…” They talked about The X-Files that way. There’s a lot of series that you can point to it and say, ”For the bulk of it [it was] good.” Knowing when to end it is key. But that being said, it is commerce still. We have to be good hosts and guests and working partners with Sony TV and AMC so that if we support them and negotiate a time and out-date that is satisfactory to Vince, I’m sure it’ll work well, and if it’s satisfactory to AMC and Sony we can all be happy. The best thing to happen would be for Vince to know exactly when he’s done, because then he can write to it. We don’t wanna finish a season and [have the network go] “Oh that was your last season,” and then we go, “Oh, we didn’t finish it. We didn’t finish the story.” If it’s 20 episodes, if it’s 16 episodes, if it’s 24 episodes, I don’t know whatever, if it’s two more years, great. My personal feeling is I think we can go two more years of 13 episodes a piece. I think we can, without slowing down or getting into a rhythm that is not Breaking Bad’s style. But when it’s over it’s over, and we’ll hold true to it. I’m not gonna wake up and find out it’s not really cancer, “These aren’t your charts! I’m sorry” (laughs).

Ανάλυση Επεισοδείου 4.05
Mike takes Jesse for a ride on an unknown mission northbound through New Mexico. No one told Walt, who fears the worst when Jesse goes missing.
This week, Walt enters full-on panic mode. His Aztec races into the oncoming lane and curves onto a sidewalk while its driver desperately makes a help-me call to Saul and records a love-you message on Skyler’s phone.
With his snubnose revolver lodged in his pocket, he demands to speak with Gus at Los Pollos Hermanos during an off-peak breakfast hour. The manager insists he’s not in his backroom office even though his car is parked out front. Mike calls Walt and puts Jesse on the line to assure him he’s safe. Mike advises he cook alone for the day. But the unsatisfying phone call and unnerving sight of a surveillance camera keep Walt on edge.
Employees used to fear Tuco's cousins when they staked out a booth all day. Walt comes off more like a disgruntled costumer who received a shoddy chicken chalupa. He marches behind the counter and finds the office empty.
It turns out Mike doesn’t know why Jesse has to accompany him. He’s following orders. When Mike pulls over and begins to dig a hole in the middle of the desert, Jesse wields a wad of keys in his hand as his only weapon of defense against death. Instead, Mike retrieves a satchel of money from a shallow dirt pit -- one of seven pickups.
Sgt. Tim Roberts returns to Hank’s for a follow-up on the lab notes found in Gale’s apartment. As he told Walt, Hank believes Heisenberg is now dead, but he has no murder suspects in mind. He knows two people connected to the “blue stuff”: Badger and Jesse. When asked if he thinks Jesse was the potential shooter, Hank says, “That would surprise me.”
Tim shows him a composite drawing of a suspect (Victor) witnesses eyeballed at the crime scene, which is no more than the generic sketch of a full-haired, goateed Hispanic man. Hank, showing newfound restraint, wants no more updates on the case, finally reaching a sense of closure.
Back in no man’s land, Mike feels around for a cash drop in an abandoned warehouse. Jesse spends most of Take Your Meth Cook’s Delinquent Lab Assistant to Work day subjected to the ho-hum routine of an elderly hitman. Mike prohibits Jesse’s exposure to cigarettes and radio rock. Jesse says he has experience with separating the dealer and supplier to reduce risk. Mike assures him he is incapable of making pickups alone, not under Gus’ regime.
At work, Walt struggles to cook on schedule without a partner. He hasn’t the foggiest idea how to drive a forklift. Hours after Walt threatens to halt production, Tyrus shows up and operates the tow-motor himself. Tyrus wisely doesn’t lay a hand on the chemicals lest he wants to die via a box cutter.
Walt and Skyler make progress with their entrepreneurial venture. Skyler wants him to promise he will be completely honest from here on out, a request Walt grants in a feeble vow. She is about to pour them a romantic drink of cheap liquor when she plays his sincere love-you message on the answering machine. Her guttural reaction is unexpected. They rush to the bedroom for a little afternoon delight that ends as soon as Walter Jr. comes home from school. Skyler wants Walt to move back in because, among other reasons, it would be easy to explain to everyone.
Before long, Jesse is back to work at the lab. His new second job on the side will be helping Mike collect cash, he tells an incredulous Walt. Over at the chicken joint, Gus speaks with Mike in a car parked near the dumpster. Mike says it all went according to Gus’ plan -- “The kid’s a hero.”
The Schraders and the Whites join for another home-cooked feast. Skyler says she and Walt will retain most of Bogdan’s employees at the car wash. Marie thinks they should put a picture of their infant daughter Holly on the sign. Walt heads into the kitchen to guzzle a few glasses from a fresh bottle by himself. Walter Jr. asks Hank about “that crazy singing guy,” also known as Gale the 5-star meth chef. Hank proclaims the murder victim as an eccentric genius.
As the camera lingers on Walt, Hank goes on a rant: “He was a genius, plain and simple. I mean, boy, if he applied that big brain of his to something good, who knows? He could’ve helped humanity or something like that.”
Walt, feeling tipsy from the wine and resenting the misdirected praise bestowed upon his former assistant, says the notebook he browsed indicates the contrary. Those pages show no reasoning, no deductions and were potentially copied from someone else’s work, he claims. Skyler is visibly nervous.
Walt’s pride gets the best of him with the following line: “Maybe he’s still out there.”
The next day, Hank shuffles through another box of evidence. He notes that Gale bought and ate an array of organic, vegan and fair-trade cuisine, and yet, lo and behold, here’s a napkin with the emblem for Albuquerque’s fried-chicken mecca, Los Pollos Hermanos.
Gale, clearly a man drawn to niche oddities, such as omelet songs, potato clocks and Ron Paul, could have had at least one culinary guilty pleasure. The discovery tickles Hank like a rash

Ένα καταπληκτικό review για το Breaking Bad
Με αφορμή την επάνοδο στους τηλεοπτικούς δέκτες την 17η Ιούλη 2011 της σειράς με την τέταρτη σεζόν ένα μικρό αφιερωματάκι σε μια εξαιρετική καθ΄όλα αμερικανική τηλεοπτική σειρά.Το Breaking Bad είναι μια Αμερικανική δραματική αμερικανική σειρά δημιουργημένη και παραγόμενη από τον Βινς Γκίλιγκαν. Η σειρά παράγεται δια λογαριασμό της Sony Pictures Television και μεταδίδεται στις ΗΠΑ και τον Καναδά στο καλωδιακό δίκτυο AMC. Η πρεμιέρα της έγινε στις 20 Ιανουαρίου 2008. Η πρώτη περίοδός της με εφτά επεισόδια ολοκληρώθηκε στις 9 Μαρτίου 2008. Η δεύτερη περίοδος της εκπομπής με 13 επεισόδια παίχτηκε από τις 8 Μαρτίου μέχρι τις 31 Μαΐου 2009. Όταν ο Γουάιτ διαγιγνώσκεται πως βρίσκεται στο τελικό στάδιο καρκίνου πνευμόνων, καταρρέει και προσανατολίζεται στο να γίνει ένας εγκληματίας, με το να παράγει και να πουλάει μεθαμφεταμίνη με τον πρώην μαθητή του Τζέσε Πίνκμαν (Άαρον Πολ) με σκοπό να εξασφαλίσει το οικονομικό μέλλον της οικογενείας του.

Η σειρά ακολουθεί το αργόσυρτο τέμπο που είναι χαρακτηριστικό πολλών σειρών που προβάλλονται στο AMC. Αυτό όμως σε καμία περίπτωση δεν είναι αρνητικό, καθόσον η διεισδυτική ματιά στους χαρακτήρες της σειράς που πραγματοποιείται με αυτόν τον τρόπο είναι ΑΤΟΥ για αυτήν. Ο Κράνστον είναι εκπληκτικός στο ρόλο του καθηγητή και το καστ ακολουθεί αναλόγως με πολύ καλές ερμηνείες.
Στη σειρά η ωμή βία, είναι διανθισμένη με μικρές σατανικές δόσεις χιούμορ, στις σωστές αναλογίες έτσι ώστε τίποτα να μην είναι εις βάρος του συνόλου.
Έχει αρκετές διακρίσεις και βραβεία και μάλιστα στις κριτικές είναι πολύ υψηλά στις βαθμολογίες (Από 9 και πάνω).
